While the tourist resort at the edge of the Black Sea preparing to host the world next month, here’s a preview closer to the host of the 22nd Winter Olympic Games . In the summer, temperatures can climb up and reach 38 to 40 degrees. Famous to be summer capital of Russia , the seaside resort hosts massively Russians who seek to recharge at the beach, in one of the many spas of well-being, and in the botanical gardens. Amateurs of adventure descend also on the region to enjoy the range of outdoor activities available such as rafting, speleology, canyoning, horse riding and mountain hiking. However, until we talk about the Sochi Olympic Games, no one knew this city. So here's what you can visit, see and do in Sochi If you pass this way:

The Georgian Convent of the Trinity

It is said that those who undertake the pilgrimage to the cathedral, hidden in the mountains of the Caucasus, and pray before Our Lady of Vladimir (or Vladimir’s Theotokos), find healing, hope, faith and love. Don't miss the village of Galitsyno and the cave Akhshtyr.

The Sochi Dendrarium (Botanical Garden)

Located in the heart of the city, the park is home to the most large collection oaks of Russia, as well as palm trees, cypresses and other subtropical species. You can also go to the aquarium aquarium which reconstitutes the marine life of the Black Sea.
