In this market, many mountaineers belong to the Hmong ethnic group, but it is also possible to cross the ethnic group of Dao, Lolo, Tai, Nung, Laichi, Phulao, Thulao, Hoa and finally Vietnamese.

As many ethnic groups as colours. The traditional costumes of every ethnic group make the wealth of this incredible market. The Hmong flowers belonging to the Hmong ethnic group are the most present, Bac Ha being the capital of this colorful ethnic group. They come to the market to sell their crafts and silver jewelry also. Their outfits are real rainbows and are their first sources of income.

All these ethnic groups continue to weave their own fabrics and make beautiful embroidery, an activity that does not escape Vietnamese and foreign tourists who do not hesitate to buy real works of embroidered art. Silver jewellery is also an important place in the culture of mountain ethnicities, treasures that can also be purchased in the Bac Ha market.

Very touristic this market is one of the most popular excursions in the country but has kept its authentic character. These mountaineers descended from the high plateaus will continue to amaze all foreigners in search of a unique change and travel!
