North and South Strip Boulevard

Las Vegas Strip, or the Strip, is a long, multi-kilometre straight boulevard stretching from the south to the north of the city, where many large luxury hotels are concentrated with their bearded facades and countless casinos. It is the main artery of the city. Shopping centres, cinemas, luxury shops, casinos and casinos make the most of the urban life of the Strip. Finding a accommodation in this area guarantees active nights, illuminated by thousands of trade signs and will only have a consequence: to encourage you to play and party. The Strip is also a romantic refuge for lovers who come to spend the new year. If small currency carriers will find some youth hostels and other motels, it will nevertheless be necessary to expect to heat the bank card...

West and East Strip Boulevard

On both sides of this tumultuous avenue is the authentic Las Vegas: the “real” population, the one that does not come to encroach millions of dollars. In the east, the student district with the University of Nevada, large golf courses, less tedious shopping centres, and then a resting population. If you are looking for a rather quiet atmosphere to stay in Las Vegas, you should instead target these two areas.

Downtown and Fremont Street

Downtown is the central business district and the oldest casinos in the city. In this neighborhood, the rates will be better, although still high – we stay in the United States, in the capital of the game and capitalism – so it’s actually a neighborhood to prefer to stay in Las Vegas: not far from downtown, but not too excited. You will find several museums and – finally! – other than casinos: art galleries, lounge bars, antiques, trendy bars and chic restaurants. It is the artistic lung of the city, breathing a crazy side that will surprise any amateur art visitor (painting, sculpture, photography, cooking, dance, yoga, and many concerts). Every first Friday of each month, an art festival is held in open air: as such, thousands of visitors push the doors of the art galleries that cut the neighborhood. An area that will give you balm in the heart if you are looking to sleep in Las Vegas by fleeing the games.
