The beautiful parliament in the Hungarian capital

The most recognizable building in Budapest (and the largest in Budapest) Hungary ), stands majesticly along the east bank of the Danube. The building Hungarian Parliament is essential: its counterforts, towers and its imposing dome are dazzling near and far. The interior dressed in marble is equally striking. Large staircases, complex designs on the ceiling, all accentuated with a large amount of gold (40 kg)! In fact, the construction of Parliament cost so expensive, that the money used to build it would have been enough to build a small town.

A guided tour of Parliament is relatively short, but you will have time to admire it Main staircase , dome room and National Assembly Hall Hungary. The most important attraction however, being Crown of Saint Stephen . The crown is protected by two guards who ceremonially change the position of their sword every five minutes.
