Today, in addition to being a chocolate factory, Cadbury World is a true chocolate museum. With half a million visitors each year, it is also the first tourist attraction in Birmingham. Cadbury World in a few words

We're in 1824. Birmingham is in the midst of an industrial revolution, a so-called John Cadbury starts selling tea and coffee in its Bull Street factory in Birmingham. A few years later, he started selling chocolate. With its success, it markets its products in India and Pakistan. The company is then named Cadbury Brothers Limited.
In 1879, after the retirement of the company’s founder, his sons, Richard and Georges Cadbury, decided to move the factory to Bournville, a town located a few kilometres from Birmingham. Because of this too large production that does not allow the Birmingham plant to assume such a volume.
Afterwards, the industrial revolution had packed its suitcases, the city of Birmingham moved more towards the tertiary sector, including tourism. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Morgan Anderson opened the Cadbury World Museum on August 14, 1990. Success is such that in 2003, a new Cadbury World opened its doors in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Our tips to visit Cadbury World
The best time to visit the Cadbury World
We strongly recommend visiting Cadbury World early morning for two reasons. On the one hand, parking spaces in the park fill very quickly. If you don’t want to go round for long minutes, it’s best to arrive among the first. On the other hand, if you come after 2pm, you will have to wait 1h30 before visiting the main attraction of Cadbury World, “4D experience”. Meanwhile, you can obviously explore the rest of the park.
In addition, for people who wish to visit Cadburry World in calm and serenity (notably for health reasons), there are "Relax Sen Sessions". These are days of the defined year where the number of visitors is restricted . The days of its sessions are indicated on the park website. It is possible to buy tickets to visit Cadbury World in Relaxed Sen, either by phone or directly online.
Duration of visit
To visit Cadbury World, you must plan on average three or four hours . This time obviously depends on each, since you can stay longer or less in each attraction. In addition, it is possible that this time of visit may be more important during weekends or school holidays, due to the limited number of visitors.
It should also be noted that the last entries are eligible for one and a half hour before the park is closed. If this is your case, plan your coming if you want to have time to visit everything.
Some practical advice

- Family of 4 people : 53,80 pounds

How do I book a ticket for Cadbury World online?
As previously said, the purchase of a ticket to visit Cadbury World is absolutely in advance. It is possible to buy them by phone or online.
If you want to book your tickets online, just go to the Cadbury website or to a platform specializing in tours and activities. You must then choose the attractions you want to do, choose the date of your visit and inquire your information.

Are there any guided tours of Cadbury World?

There is no guided tour of Cadbury. However, the park's visit is very intuitive. Cadbury World is divided into 14 areas that follow. So you can't lose yourself. In addition, several areas are devoted to the history of chocolate, the city or the company of Cadbury itself. So you don’t need a guide, since everything is very well explained in the park. There is only to follow the march!
Are there combined visits with other monuments in Birmingham?
It is possible to combine Cadbury's visit with a unique chocolate experience. This is a two-hour session with one of Cadbury World’s chocolate makers. This one teaches you how to make your own chocolate yourself. It stays with you and accompanies you to help you make the best chocolate.
The individual Chocolatier Experience award and 51 pounds. If you choose to combine this experience with the Cadbury World, this is 69 pounds.
Opening hours
Opening hours depend on the season and days. For example, at the end of July and throughout August, the park is open between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. This one is closed the first half of January. Generally:

- Saturday and Sunday9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How do I access Cadbury World?
Cadbury World is located in Bournville a few kilometers from Birmingham.
- By train : you can access it by train from Birmingham New Street Station. You will need to take the West Midlands Railway line that will take you to Bournville Station. From this station, you just have to walk about 15 minutes to get to Cadbury World.
- By bus : you can take 11A, 11C or 48.
- By car : From Birmingham, just follow Bournville. Then you have Cadbury World indications displayed to help you find your way.
Where to park near Cadbury?
If you come by car to Cadbury World, you can park at the parking lot located just at the entrance. This is free, but it may be necessary to look for a certain time if you come during the periods of affluence.

During your visit to Cadbury World, you can stay at Bournville which allows you to go to the park by walking.
