History of Nigloland

Nigloland Park was founded 13 June 1987 by two brothers: Patrice and Philippe Gélis . Forains, they have always decided to open their own amusement park as a result of a trip to United States . The two brothers, marvelled by the parks and leisure of the USA and seduced by the concept of single ticket entrance, embark on the adventure of their own park. And as playground, nothing like the family property of Dolancourt that has more 8 hectares .

The park holds its name from the mascot "Noglo" which means hedgehog in Romani language. At its opening, Nigloland owned 7 attractions :

  • The Western Train
  • L’Aventure Land
  • The Tacots 1900
  • The Niglogolf
  • Ciné show 180°
  • The Carrousel 1900
  • The Manoir Hanté

Then, thanks to its overwhelming success, the park is divided into 4 thematic areas :

  • The Canadian Village
  • The rock village ‘n’roll
  • The wonderful village
  • The Swiss village (created in 2007)

2018 , park attendance reached 655 000 visitors . A real record since its opening.

Today, the park has 39 attractions including 6 Russian mountains and 4 aquatic attractions. He also offers shows for all ages. It also has 8 theme restaurants . Nigloland is ranked 3rd French amusement park in terms of attendance. It is about 40 minutes from Troyes and 2 hours from Paris .

Among the new 2019s, find the Eden Palace , a superb carousel to discover the history of the park. Confidence your children to Z’abeilles ! A nice attraction to make them fly through the flowers. Tour of the Little Ghosts , a mini tour so that they experience the sensations too! Or again Tacots 2000 to drive beautiful vehicles of the time.

  • The attractions for the whole family

Making rides all together is even better! Find in the attractions for the whole family the rides mentioned above as well as the Schlitt’Express - a small Russian mountain — or Canadian River to refresh yourself in case of heat! You want more? Put the course on the Galion Pirate A pretty boat that'll make you tan!

Note : All attractions are regulated. The minimum size required as well as the fact that the child must be accompanied or not you will be specified at the entrance of each attraction.

To visit Nigloland, there is no sense to respect. A plan will be given to you as soon as you arrive. It will allow you to spot yourself through different themes and attractions. The plan is very well done, and the attractions are all numbered.

If you come to visit Nigloland, you can also enjoy beautiful shows. The themes vary depending on the seasons, but you will always be delighted in front of the Niglo Show ! The park's cult show.

You will also find strategic locations such as restaurants, toilets or infirmary, shops or picnic areas.

How do I get to Nigloland?

First, here is the exact address of the park: Nigloland D619, 10200 Dolancourt . The park is between Troyes and Chaumont.

To access it, there are several options available to you:

By car

  • From Troyes : access by D619 or A5
  • From Paris : by the A5 motorway, exit no. 22 then travel 20 kilometers to reach the park
  • From Reims : A26 motorway to Troyes then take the A5, exit no. 22
  • From Dijon : A31 motorway then A5, exit No. 23 then continue on 27 kilometers to the park via Bar-sur-Aube
  • From Metz and Nancy : take the A31 motorway then A5 or the N4 via Saint-Dizier

By train

The nearest stations in the park (about 10 minutes) are:

Opening dates

Here are the opening dates of Nigloland Park for the period of April 6 to November 3, 2019 :

  • Aprilfrom 6 to 30
  • May : from 1 to 5, Wednesday 8, every weekend, and from 29 to 31
  • June : Mondays (except 3), Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, then continuous from 15 to 30
  • July/August : daily
  • September : weekends
  • October : the weekends then continuously from 19 to 31
  • November 1 to 3

Opening hours

The hours of Nigloland Park vary depending on the season. In general, the doors are opened from 10 a.m. and closing around 6:00. For example:

  • From 13 July to 25 Augustopen from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Note : Du 19 October to 3 November , the hours will be extended until nightfall for the Halloween fireworks.

For rates, you have the option either to pay your simple entry, to opt for a pass or to book a stay with night at the 4 star hotel Park.

  • Child – 12 : 29.50€
  • Free for children under 1 metre
  • Senior over 60 : 29.50€
  • Persons with reduced mobility 29.00€
  • 2 consecutive days package : 56.00€
  • Premium Pass* Season 2019 (pass is nominal): 73.50€

- The park has a free parking
- You have the option to buy gift vouchers. An original idea that will please the whole family!
- A delivery system is available in the park. Rent your locker for only €3 a day and free!
- Puppets are also available for rent for only 5€. Perfect if your kid suddenly needs to rest.
– 70% of attractions are accessible to persons with reduced mobility. Also, wheelchairs are available for rent for 10€ a day.
- One. chenil is at your disposal for the greatest comfort of your four-legged friends! Monnayant 5€ day.
- Nigloland owns a campsite-car. An area is reserved for them 8.50€/24h (excluding residence tax).
