Before bearing this name, he was known as the “Mont Tombe”, a place of religious non-Christian worship. - Visiting a museum will cost you 9€ for adult entry, 4€ at a reduced rate. However, there are packages 2 and 4 museums, costing respectively 12€ and 18€ full and 9€ and 12€ in reduced tariff;
- A free visit to the Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel costs 9€. If you opt for an audioguide, add this 3€ rental. For a guided tour by lecturer, count 400€ for a group of up to 30 people. Finally, private guided tours are possible and provide access to closed rooms such as the Notre-Dame-sous-Terre church. However, you need to manage the booking pricing. You can choose a professional card guide or mandate a guide from the National Monuments Centre;
- Otherwise for guided hikes, count on average 15€ per person for a walking discovery of the Bay.
2. Bike

6. Paragliding

How to get to Mont-Saint-Michel
Several means of transport are available:
- By car: From Paris, it takes 4 hours to the A13, and then the A84 to Caen. The southern part of the A84 also allows to reach the Mont from Rennes and Nantes. If you come from the South of France, join Bourges and Le Mans to borrow the A81 to the destination;
- By train: No TGV station is located near Mont-Saint-Michel. Therefore, you will have to stop at Caen, then take a TER to Pontorson Station. A shuttle will allow you to complete the journey.
- By bus : if you want to go to Mont-Saint-Michel by bus, you will first have to take a big line (Flixbus, Blablabus, etc.) to Brittany. The aim is to reach Dol-de-Bretagne, where a regional bus can connect.
- By plane : If you choose the plane, know that you can only approach the place. We recommend Caen Airport, located not far away. Then the journey will have to end in TER. Where to park near Mont-Saint-Michel?
