Europa-Park in a few words
Europa-Park is a theme park, as well as a German leisure complex located in Rust (Bade-Wurtemberg), between the cities of Fribourg-en-Brisgau in Germany and Strasbourg in France. Founded by the Mack family, it was inaugurated on 12 July 1975.
The park consists of 59 attractions and features a hotel complex. These figures make him the largest theme park and hotel complex in Germany. Some practical information
Like many amusement parks, there are some safety rules to respect. Here are some tips to plan and facilitate your visit:
- All sharp objects are confiscated. Forget the knife for the picnic!
- Animals are prohibited in the park.
- It is possible to organize a birthday in the park. So, until the twelfth anniversary included, your child will be entitled to a free admission to Europa-Park!
- If you are a person with reduced mobility, no panic, the majority of equipment has been designed to facilitate access to persons with disabilities. However, we advise you to be accompanied by a person who can help you when necessary.
- No smoking is allowed in the Irish quarter.

How to get to Europa-Park?
By car
To access Europa-Park, you can rent a car from France. Once the keys are in hand, borrow the A5 motorway use exit 57b Rust and access directly to Europa-Park and its hotel complex.
Note : it is possible to park at the main parking lot (7,00 € per car/day) .
By bus
- France : buses provide the route from various regions of France such as the Great East, Burgundy, Franche County, the Auvergne Rhône Alpes, the island of France and the Hauts de France. If you're in Strasbourg or Sélestat, it is possible to borrow a shuttle. Count 50 euros the return trip , park entrance included.
- Switzerland Romande : there too, several buses offer the trip. We advise you to contact the coaches in your region to find out their next trips to Europa-Park.
Note : buses also depart from Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria and Germany.
By train
- Paris : a daily TGV serves directly the German stations of Lahr and Offenburg. From these stations, you can take a regional train to Ringsheim Station.
- Strasbourg : Europa-Park is about 50 km from the TGV station in Strasbourg. At the descent of the TGV, take a regional train to Ringsheim Station with a change in Offenburg.
- Colmar : The park is located 45 km from Colmar TGV Station and 80 km from Mulhouse. Then take a regional train to Ringsheim Station with a change in Fribourg in Brisgau.
Note : Ringsheim Station is the official stop to get to Europa-Park by train. A bus regularly serves Europa-Park and its hotel complex (situated 4 kilometres away).
