The Seine docks have been rid of (mostly) the motor traffic, and are now a privileged traffic route for the two-wheelers in Paris. Terraces, water points, benches or dock edges, there are many nice spots to take a break.
To cut into several sections, or to make a treat (14 km in total), this superb bike ride in Paris follows the Seine curve by alternating from the right bank to the left bank, from the Bercy Park to the Parc André Citroën, from one district to the other of the capital. To reach the start of this bike ride in Paris, direction the 19th arrondissement and Parc de la Villette, to follow the extension of the Canal de l’Ourcq.
Far from stopping at the borders of Paris, the cycle path of the canal allows you to pedal far and long. You will cross a flat, well-appointed and marked itinerary to avoid getting lost (which is not likely to happen!), which runs by the water through the nearby Parisian suburb (Pantin, Bobigny, Bondy...), to become greener and almost campagnard at the Powder Forest Park.

The route follows in fact the route of the South Green Clock, which starts from Plaza Catalunya in the 14th arrondissement, to reach the RER station in Massy – Verrières (return by train if the return trip is too long).
