Immersion in the incredible landscape of the Lofoten Islands
Norway is certainly one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. This is at least what some travellers say, preferring beauty of fjords or views offered by the cruises, to the sandy beaches of Asia or elsewhere. Norway has its own splendour, which cannot be compared to that of the countries of the southern hemisphere, is it? Anyway, the Lofoten Islands undeniably form one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world.
You can fly to the archipelago (see below how to go), but it’s much more fun to borrow a submarine tunnel if you decide to go island island . Depending on the season you visit Lofoten, you can admire the Northern from the end of the fall to the beginning of the spring, or explore all the corners that the archipelago holds during the 24-hour days during the summer.

Ideal to stay on the Lofoten Islands and have a authentic experience is to rent a fisherman's hut. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a reindeer stew in a restaurant, to observe whales offshore (only from October to January), or to bike on local roads. Very distant from Oslo and from the south, the Lofoten Islands are in fact an excellent place to be compensated and to change ideas.

Where are the Lofoten Islands and how to get there?
The Lofoten Islands are located northwest of Norway, north of the polar circle and off the town of Bodø.
To get there, you must first take a plane to the destination airport Evenes (Narvik). Then you don't have to take a boat. It takes 2 and a half hours by car or bus to go from Evenes to Svolvær (via the LOFAST road). The SAS and Norwegian companies operate flights from France, as well as daily flights from Oslo. Check the cheapest flights here .
You can also fly to Bodø with the same companies (from Oslo for example). You just need to take a ferry (ideal if you're by car) or a bus to the Lofoten Islands.
