Where to go to Rome in a picturesque neighborhood? Meet Trastevere, located just south of the Vatican. With its small paved streets, Trastevere has a charming and authentic side that we love. It is probably the best dining area in Rome, with its traditional and affordable restaurants, both choice and quality are there.
The neighborhood also houses many typical bars that you will love!
2. Centro Storico, the unmissable

Where to go to Rome near tourist attractions? Regardless of your itinerary and your desire on site, you will pass whatever happens by this small neighborhood that houses some of the most important monuments of the city like the Pantheon.
The area is ideal for a drink next to the old Roman building or the Trévi fountain.

3. Monti, the hipster side

Where to go to Rome in a trendy neighborhood? Fucked by the Colosseum and the Forum Romain , sheltering the Domus Aurea and Trajan markets, Monti is considered the hipster district of Rome. We love its village atmosphere, its streets with a certain charm and character.
In addition to tourist attractions, the area is home to chic and trendy cafés, as well as old book vendors during the day. In the evening, you can enjoy it on the outside by strolling through the streets or by posing near the fountain of the Piazza della Madonna dei Monti .
4. Trident, the glamour neighborhood

Formed by the two main streets leaving the Piazza del Popolo and having the appearance of a triangle, the Trident is one of the famous places to go out to Rome. It is a glamorous place, with some famous restaurants and steps from the Spanish square.
The chic is located around luxury boutiques or beautiful cars walking around the streets of the neighborhood. For those looking for a hype side, the Trident is the choice you need.
5. Testaccio, the popular district

Where to go out to Rome without ruining himself? Situated between the Tiber and Ostiente Station, Testaccio is a transit area where one does not usually stop. A mistake that you will fix on your next visit to Rome!
It enjoys its popular cuisine where the trattorias, these typical Italian restaurants, are queens. In the evening, the streets live around the bars of the neighborhood and we love its small local atmosphere.
6. San Lorenzo, student district

Where to go to Rome to find a student atmosphere? Located close to Termini Main Station and La Sapienza University, San Lorenzo is at the forefront of the tourist area. Here, no monuments to visit or fancy restaurants. That’s even the opposite! And that is what gives this neighborhood its attraction.
San Lorenzo, this is the city’s student district, an ideal place for small budgets in rusty. We don't look for gastronomic restaurants but places with good atmosphere and friendly. In the evening, the bars of the neighbourhood ignite, to the greatest happiness of students and holidaymakers.
7. Esquilino, cosmopolitan

Where to go to Rome to taste the world's cuisines? Located right next to San Lorenzo, encompassing the Termini train station and the large Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, Esquilino is a district where part of Asian and African immigration has been grouped. In fact, Esquilino is a friendly cosmopolitan area where all cultures mix.
It is in restaurants that we find this diversity with many Asian and African restaurants. If you have had your pasta or pizza and a masala tikka or an Ethiopian wat make you want, then take the direction of Esquilino!
8. Trieste, the excited neighborhood

Where to go to Rome in a remote area from the rest of the city? Not a salesman for a penny, this description is yet a lot of oxygen. Far from the urban tumult of the city centre of Rome, Trieste is a neighborhood where to escape and which houses unrecognized riches like churches dating from the 4th century or the mausoleum of Santa Costanza.
