1. Windsurfing or windsurfing

Rhodes is certainly an excellent destination for windsurfing, but also wakeboard or kitesurfing! The island has several spots where the wind blows strong, and where the practice of its sports is ideal. You can thus go to Prassonissi, the southernmost part of the island which is very windy. This is probably the best windsurfing spot on the island!
It attracts many athletes every day. You can also reach the spots of Theologos, Ialyssos, Ixia and Paradisi. There are many windsurfing centres, kitesurfing or wakeboarding. As a reminder, the windsurfing (in French) is as its name indicates a sport where you evolve on a board with a sail, like a small boat. With wakeboarding or kitesurfing, you are especially attached to a surf and driven by a veil.
