1. Pass in S

The S Pass separates two coral reefs and is certainly the best known diving spot in Mayotte. It consists of multiple dive sites containing an extraordinary flora and aquatic fauna. Sprinkled with many muds, it measures 4 km and its depth can reach up to 70 metres .
Here we find ourselves in the name of the buoys to choose which species to visit. The big nuts chose buoys n°4 and n°5. Des shellfish elected home around n°9. For turtles, however, buoy n°2 is certainly the best! The great security of the site allows, for an unreal moment, night diving.
2. The Boa Bank

No, no snakes are waiting for you in this site of the northwest near the Choizil islet. This diving spot in Mayotte, however, welcomes lobsters, raies and gorgones between 5 and 30 meters depth .
The coral reef in which the masters of the place veer makes the joy of underwater photographers because of the excellent health of its corals. Corals that, you must know, are not submarine plants but many animals!
If you have the chance to go to the Boa Bank, you may have the chance to admire the passage of much larger animal species on the wide side.
3. Boat pass

Boat pass reserved for confirmed divers What a show! Aside from the shoreline, this dive spot in Mayotte is located south of the island. It is possible to initiate diving by deriving, that is, by letting the marine current train. Advantages: little effort to provide, the flow is responsible for pushing you all the length of the spot.
A first drop will lead you to 40 meters deep , followed by a second to 80 metres for the most expensive. A boat will pick you up at the very end of “the itinerary”. In the meantime, you will have the privilege of contemplating a fauna rich in pelagic: sharks, rays, dolphins, tunas... Drys and large murenas will also be part of the fund. Show assured!
4. Pass Sada

5. The Tombant of Airmen

As its name suggests, this dive spot in Mayotte is located at the end of the Dzaoudzi-Pamandzi airport track. It is a dizzying drop that descends under 60 meters depth . Yet good news: the site is accessible to all practitioners because of its weak currents. It has several corridors and tunnels where visitors can sneak.
Here, gorgones, lobsters and rascasses go to their occupations. Sometimes pig-epic fish can be seen. These amazing animals swell with water and get their tips to the slightest awkwardness! You will appreciate the great brightness of the place and the clarity of the water, especially remarkable, even for the island of Mayotte.
6. Saziley Tombant (snorkeling)

Take the northwest direction of Mayotte to explore one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. Wait for the low tide so that the island of Sable Blanc emerges from the streams, put masks and tubas and then offer you an exceptional underwater random in a coral reef that is just as much. The depth is not important, between 1 and 3 meters , which allows to admire hard corals. If you watch them carefully, you may see the small octopuses that hide.
As you progress, hundreds of annihias colonies of a bright orange will act as a peaceful escort. The site also houses several species of sergeant-majors, parrotfish, spawning fish and rabbitfish. The beach of N’Gouja is a high place of tourism in Mahorais. Between baobabs, jungle and turquoise water, it is for many of the most beautiful stretch of sand on the island. One of the best snorkeling spots in Mayotte can be accessed a few meters from the shore. In calm waters, the site is known to house marine turtles. Green turtles or scales come to retreat into the herbaria and give birth to their little ones.
There is something to see between corals, blue ladies (fish of a stupendous turquoise color), espiègles-clown fish (like Nemo!) or iridescent angelfish. The place is full of underwater life and will be ideal for an unforgettable family outing. The spot extends over more than 200 meters off the beach: maximum depth, five meters . Due to the space to be covered, prefer the palms, it’s much easier!
