1. The Rock of Diamond

Nestled in the Caribbean Sea, a few kilometers from the eponymous city, the Diamond Rock has been erected for many years as one of the symbols of Martinique. Enjoyed both locals and tourists, this 175-metre high gem — classified as a nature reserve for the reproduction of marine birds — shines under the various flashes that made it an Instagram star.
But, more than a must-see place for postcard shots, it is one of the most famous dive sites in Martinique. And for cause, under water it is a most dazzling show that awaits you.
Between the encounter of volcanic rock and coral, you can attend a ballet of colorful fish and marine turtles. Swim between flaws and spectacular arches, explore its underwater caves and dazzle yourself in the face of unparalleled light games illuminating its limpid waters.
2. La Baie de Saint-Pierre

Discover a range of Martinique’s history in a unique way by venturing into the famous Baie de Saint-Pierre . Theatre of the most deadly volcanic eruption of the 20th century, this mythical place at the foot of the Pelee Mountain has engulfed in its midst the testimonies of this funest event.
The divers of all levels will thus be able to discover some of the ship wrecks — such as The Roraima and Amélie — which now houses an exceptional fauna and flora. After your visit to this marine cemetery, a true martinic archaeological heritage, you may be seduced by the sweet song of the sirens Manman dlo and Yemaya who watch on the waters of Saint-Pierre.
Created by Laurent Valère, these impressive sculptures — which have become over the years a reef appreciated by underwater species — form an amazing sculptural journey for bottled or apnea divers. You will be delighted to swim between tropical fish, turtles, dry and sea stars!
3. L’Anse Dufour et l’Anse Noire

Renowned for the richness of their seabed and to be the favourite places of the green turtles, the Anse Noire and Anse Dufour — the two sisters of black sand and white sand — attract the followers of snorkeling only divers.
Immerse yourself in their translucent waters calling for the observation of tropical fish and rugged funds with abundant vegetation. Contemplate the colored corals, hippocampes or angelfish that animate this wonderful aquatic life.
And don’t miss to immoralize your meeting with the stars of the place: the turtles come to the famous Thalassia Testudinum — says "Turtle grass" — covering the northern part of the bay.
4. L’Anse Couleuvre et l’Anse Céron

Heat your palms, put your masks and enter a clear water where you can swim quietly alongside the angelfish sneaking between the gorgones, surprise a whispered with a cavity and observe impressive tropical fish benches. You'll bring out stars full of eyes!

5. The Citadel

Located off the Prêcheur, between the Anse Belleville and the Abymes — Citadelle is one of the best dive spots in Martinique if you want to discover a diversity of environments in one time. This coral plateau, bordered by a spectacular blower, offers you three distinct parts that you will enjoy exploring.
At first, from about 6 to 30 metres, you will find a first plateau where corals, sorbs, carangues and parrotfish are easily observed. If you look well, you can even find some lobsters hidden in the rocks.
Further, the most wary divers will be able to continue the walk with a 60-metre drop by the gorgones and sponges. You will also have the chance to contemplate black sand plateaus formed by the lava castings of the Pelee Mountain. How to build unforgettable memories!
6. Cape Solomon

See you at the pool of Solomon where you can go along a colorful decor and explore a cave where spider crabs have chosen home. Swim in Gardens of Solomon — an ideal place for dive baptisms in Martinique — and marvel at the corals and multicolor sponges that share the scene with a wide variety of fish.
