The Gorges du Tarn

Canoe-kayak around the Tarn Gorges

Lake Villefort : otherwise known as Lake Bayard, Lake Villefort is an artificial lake, a reservoir of water from the nearby eponymous city dam. Built to power 80,000 people, it completely engulfed the hamlet of Bayard and, over time, became a high place of Lozerian holiday, where kayaking or windsurfing, fishing and hiking can be done.
