1. The Treh – Markstein – Oderen

This spot is one of the best places to make paragliding in the Vosges. It is also one of the largest free flight sites in northern France! Southwest Oriented, it peaks at an altitude of 1206 meters. You will find it in the northwest of Mulhouse . You will discover a rustic village and forests that extend to a loss of sight. A breathtaking decor that you can only enjoy during your flight!

Attention, because this site is beautiful, wide and appreciated, and is therefore very busy especially in weekends. Located on the ridge road, this spot in Le Treh is often the starting point of cross for both beginners and seasoned drivers. You will have to follow the road leading to Markstein and then park on the parking lot below to reach him. As for landing, it is done in the ZI of Oderen or Breymatt.

2. Ballon d’Alsace

6. Schnepfenried

Departures are usually on the Bronner side. The altitude at this place is 1250 meters for a 600 meters high. Near Colmar, you can make soaring by posing easily at the top. It is also possible to land in Sondernach on a marked and planned land. This place is ideal for a baptism of air!

7. Gustiberg

This spot is located under the mountain of Petit Drumont, and therefore not far from the spot mentioned above. It's much easier than the Drumont spot. The site is thus very exploited by local schools. It is therefore an ideal place for air baptism with local professionals! The more seasoned drivers can enjoy the spot at the beginning of the day thanks to its orientation between South and South-East. They will also be able to leave the relief to work safely.

To reach it, you will have to head to the Bussang Pass and then turn right to the career. Then follow the road to the parking lot Paragliding . A fifteen minute walk will finally allow you to reach the spot, just follow the signage.

8. La Roche de midnight

This spot is located in the town of La Bresse, in the Vosges du Sud. This city is renowned for its mountain activities and winter sports stations. It is therefore no wonder that it houses one of the best places to make paragliding in the Vosges!

As for the midnight Roche spot, it is 940 metres above sea level. To reach it, take the Route du col du Brabant from the center of La Bresse. You will have to leave your car on the parking lot before the pass and then walk the road under the ski lifts. The take-off area is at the top of this path, slightly below. Because this spot is site to soaring only, the rest must be at the top.

9. Reinhardsmunster

This spot is in the Northern Vosges. If it covers a large East area, it is nevertheless a small site compared to its denial of only 185 meters. However, you can fly along a beautiful wooded ridge extending from Saverne to Wangenbourg.

Easy access is one of the best places to do paragliding in the Vosges when you’re a beginner. You will thus be able to develop safely through the fields in the valley. Near Strasbourg We're joining this spot from Reinhardsmunster. In town, take the road to Obersteigen to the left. A kilometer after the village exit, follow the straight forest path that will lead you to a parking lot located at an intersection. Finally, follow the south-facing path for only five minutes to take off.
