If the parachute jump in itself lasts only a short time, the total duration of the activity is 3:30 including transportation and briefing. Several departure times are possible, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon . To avoid the risk of cancellation due to weather conditions, we advise you to choose the morning flight. The meeting place for the parachute jump is located at the Reichenbach aerodrome , about 30 minutes from Interlaken.
You have 2 options :
- go directly on site half an hour after the time indicated on your booking;
- get you driven by the Skydive Switzerland team from Interlaken.
You can book this activity for up to 10 participants. These should weigh between 40 and 105 kilos and have one physical condition . The minimum age for parachute in Interlaken is 18 years , or 16 years with parental permission .
The activity will cost you 395 Swiss francs, about 365 € . For this sum, all the necessary to jump is inclusive : harness and parachute, combination, certified and experienced tandem monitor, support and return to the hotel. If you want to immortalize this moment, several photo and video packages are offered in addition, from 120 Swiss Francs .
You will only need to bring an adequate outfit for the practice of a sporting activity: clothing and sports shoes . Minors must submit the authorisation signed by their parents.

Activity description
Get ready to live one of the wildest moments in your life! In addition to strong sensations and adrenaline discharge, you will enjoy breathtaking landscapes in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
First of all, you will start by following a winding road to the Reichenbach aerodrome, overlooking the Swiss mountains. Upon arrival, you are supported by the team and become acquainted with your particular monitor. It will explain the course of the activity and give you a briefing on everything you need to know to fully enjoy your jump. The basic gestures are presented in a clear way, you will only have to reproduce them during the flight!
Then you board a plane, for a flight 15 minutes who takes you gradually to 4 000 meters altitude . Through the porthole, you will admire the sparkling reflections of the 2 lakes of Interlaken, as well as the summits Eiger , Monch and Jungfrau . The excitement begins to be felt inside the carlingue, while the adrenaline begins to rise.
When the door opens, you are attached to your monitor that adjusts the straps of the harness before rotating to place your 4 feet in the vacuum... Then it’s the big jump! It will quickly adopt a horizontal position to make you enjoy the most of the landscape. The free fall hard about 45 seconds at a speed around them 200 km/h . Strong senses guaranteed!
It then triggers the parachute that stops your crazy race, then launches into an airball composed of large turns in the way of the paragliding. It’s always the experienced team of Skydive Interlaken which offers this parachute jumping activity in Interlaken. You will have the chance to combine two unusual activities in one day: helicopter flight and parachute jump.
Departure from the helicopter base Mittelweg 11, 3812 Wilderswill . You will be supported upon arrival by your particular monitor. This activity is limited to 2 persons due to the space and weight constraints inside the device. You will receive a briefing 15 minutes to explain the attitudes and positions to be adopted during the flight. During this briefing, you will perform practical exercises to prepare you for your jump. No worries, the explanations are clear and the experienced monitor will immediately trust you.
The most part of this activity is that you enjoy a breathtaking panorama from the helicopter that gradually climbs into the sky above the Swiss Alps. Large, the aircraft’s windows offer a panoramic view far superior to that of an aircraft. You will thus enjoy an impressive panorama of the deep blue lakes, the Schynige plateau and the highest peaks in the region. At the end of 8 to 10 minutes , once altitude of 4,000 meters reached, the door opens and you approach the vacuum, firmly attached to your monitor. It reminds you of the last instructions as you take support of the helicopter slide. The countdown then triggers: three, two, one, GO!
The helicopter quickly disappears while you adopt a horizontal position, the arms spread out. During 45 seconds near 200 km/h , adrenaline spreads in your body for your greatest pleasure. Then the parachute opens, putting a stop at the descent. But the experience is not over yet! The panoramic flight that allows you to reach the hard base between 5 and 8 minutes , offering you unforgettable views of the surrounding mountains. Your monitor describes wide circles in the sky smoothly, up to the delicate landing near your starting point. As you recover from your emotions, the team prepares photos and videos memories of the experience ( from 120 CHF , extra).
This activity lasts 2 - 3 hours , briefing, flight and jump included. All equipment is included , combination, harness and parachute, as well as your certified monitor and transfers from your hotel. Only photos and videos require a supplement. All you have to do is take some of them clothing and sports shoes and a good dose of courage! Minors are accepted from 16 years old with parental permission . The minimum size for participants is 150 cm and weight must not exceed 100 kilos .
Our tips to make parachute
For a successful parachute jump, there are some necessary prerequisites. Nothing bad, but information equally essential for a memorable experience.
- Children under 15 years unfortunately can't make a parachute. For the rest, there is no age limit, even if minors must have parental permission ;
- Some providers do not allow jumping to people weighing more than 105kg (sometimes less), do not hesitate to ask you in advance;
- A suitable outfit (sport holder) is obviously advised to take advantage of the maximum flight;
- People with reduced mobility can practice parachute;
- It is not necessary to have a medical certificate but must be in good physical condition;
- Well, you know, your jump can be cancelled in case of poor weather conditions (wind, rain, storm...). So we strongly advise you to book your activity at the beginning of your holiday week in order to be able to shift your jump in case of inconvenience.
Finally, we also state that the feeling of vertigo does not exist during a parachute descent, since you then have no connection to the farmland. On the other hand, you may feel the evil of air, even if it remains very rare.
