1. Escalader the Pic Saint Loup

The Pic Saint Loup is undoubtedly an obligatory passage for all climbing ferus. Located on the town of Valfaunès , 30 minutes from Montpellier, this place is very appreciated by locals and passing sportsmen.

Up to 658 meters, it is indeed an ideal playground for aguerrilla climbers and amateurs who want to perfect their technique. The tilt is about 40° throughout, making this climbing path a rather physical obstacle. But it offers paths also more accessible to beginners. In any event, your effort will be widely rewarded at the top, with a breathtaking view of the Mont Aigoual the coast and the sea.

2. The cliff of the Hortus

Located at the foot of the Pic Saint Loup, about 35 minutes from Montpellier, cliff of the Hortus is particularly appreciated by seasoned climbers. Indeed, the place is known for its great paths and its very technical aspect. Sportsmen and lovers of strong sensations will therefore be especially enjoying this place.

3. La Via ferrata du Thaurac

If you are looking for a place to make via ferrata near Montpellier, Thaurac Cliff is undoubtedly the most recommended. 5. The cliffs of Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel
