Mapstr is an application that allows you to create your own interactive map by recording all your favorite addresses. You can then sort them with tags, share them with your community and exchange good plans, and prepare your next trips. French application, Mapstr was designed by Sébastien Caron, with a single objective: to be able to record all its addresses, in an ultra simple and visual way, without any limits. The aim of the Mapstr application is to build the map of YOUR world.
With Mapstr you can:

How does it work?

Mapstr was thought to be easy and quick to use.
- At first, download the application on iOS or Android She's free! Then create your account. - You want register a new location ? Click on the “+” icon to add an address. - You have choice :
- Start typing the beginning of its name or address, like on a GPS, the app will make you suggestions.
- Choose a place right next to you by geolocation.
- Photo the address in a magazine, and Mapstr will automatically recognize it.
- Or just press a point of the card, just where you want to note the address!
- Mapstr will then automatically recover photos, phone number, opening hours and all data from the place, you have nothing to do... Would you like to file your addresses? Use tags #resto, #burgers, #hostel...
- Once your addresses are registered, your " map of your world is incorporated. You find yourself facing a map where only your favorite addresses come out.
Good to know. : Mapstr works like a social network . You can subscribe to friends, explore their address book card, record the ones you try and want to discover on your own card (this can be done via Facebook Connect or through a classic friend search).

Mapstr: the opinion of the editor
Claire, simple, useful and efficient... This application is really the app to have on trip (and even daily)! She has a huge success and is especially practical.
Collect her good addresses on her phone and not forget them! This, in our view, is Mapstr’s main asset. Your card can exist for a dimension of sharing, but also for a dimension of projection: by creating the tags "to be tested" or "my favorite shops", you make Mapstr a personal directory, like a think-beat.
The application also avoids bad surprises. Before, we entered a place without knowing where we were putting our feet. With Mapstr, thanks to the pictures, comments and choices of your friends, you know what to expect to be not disappointed. However, a little surprises from time to time, doesn't it hurt either?!
