Dowtown

The downtown area of Seattle is the business centre. Located between the shores of the ocean and the hills, it is the tourist heart of the city, where the population is rather dense. The area actually includes several neighbourhoods: the Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, First Hill, or Yesler Terrace. Growing social activity grows around the Pike Place Market, a very commercial place where we find a plethora of independent and specialized shops – if you like local and fresh products – the Farmer Market and the Seattle Aquarium. Many restaurants will delight you taste buds, especially if you like seafood. For the arts and culture, there are many cinemas and theatres, museums (the Seattle Art Museum ), but be careful: staying in Seattle is more and more expensive.
