Known in France to be the city “of weapon, cycle and ribbon”, of coal and industrial exploitation, Saint-Étienne has been trying to redorate his coat of arms since the early 2000s. The city is located in the Furan Valley – a river taking its source in the Pilat massif -, 410 kilometers south of Paris, 50 kilometers from Lyon and only 70 kilometers from Valencia.
