Charlotte Center City
Also called Uptown, the city centre district forms a grid of straight streets. He is above all the business center of the city. There are the great buildings, a groubling and busy population, as well as most of Charlotte's must-see monuments and museums:
- Discovery Palace – one of the most popular children’s museums in the country –
- NASCAR Hall of Fame;
- Greyhound bus station – ideal for visiting another state capital;

This is not a residential area. So staying in Uptown can be expensive. The Mint Museum Uptown and ImaginOn are the other two must-see museums in the neighborhood.

NoDa and Plaza Midwood
Would you like to stay in Charlotte enjoying a more casual, young and festive atmosphere than in the CBD? Try to sleep in Noda, a neighbourhood inhabited by young and trendy populations. These two districts, east of the city centre, are replete with concert halls, tattoo lounges, shops and restaurants.
The Noda district, for example, houses the concert hall Evening Muse . It is a place of exit that combines concert hall, cafes and art gallery. Noda is the artistic district of the city: a little the Latin Quarter of Paris, or the Beaux-Arts of Montpellier... East of Plaza Midwood is the city’s golf club, Charlotte Country Club. It offers a huge green space for the city. If you prefer to sleep in Noda or Plaza Midwood, book a half day to visit the Charlotte History Museum – Charlotte Museum of History – . It retraces the evolution of the city over the centuries. Southwest of the Plaza Midwood district, you will find a large shopping centre – Midwood Smokehouse - with many foodtrucks and stands with a large offer of beer produced in artisanal microbrewery, as well as local farm market products.
