Parnell

Located on a hill just east of Queen Street, Parnell is the chic Auckland area. Many local art shops, restaurants, spacious, high rented accommodations are scattered. If you want to sleep in Auckland at home in a Victorian architecture villa, luxurious with garden and pool, you have to stay in Parnell. The neighborhood is surrounded by green spaces where to relax in the beautiful days. The disadvantage is that it is expensive to sleep in Parnell, but the area remains central to access CBD in a few minutes.

Grafton

Located on the western side of Auckland Domain Park, Grafton is a rather quiet, but central area thanks to its proximity to CBD and Newmarket. If you’re athletic (or sporting), it’s good to make a short walk in the early hours of dawn, when the city still sleeps. The neighborhood is booming, so enjoy sleeping in Grafton now before prices catch up with those in the financial centre (CBD).

Karangahape Road

K’Road is a neighbourhood built around the eponymous street separating Queen Street from Upper Queen Street. The area is considered the Bohemian district of Auckland. LGBT clubs, sex-shops and strip-teases for the party who likes to get stuck in the night of debauchery. Next to that, you can enjoy the terraces and small cafes, vintage art shops and many bars, discotheques and restaurants. If you like to party in the city, it is on K’road that you have to choose to stay in Auckland because it is resolutely a neighbourhood populated by young noctambules, dynamic, festive, effervescent.

Mount Eden

Further to the south of the city centre, there is a small town atmosphere with a hill top for a nice walk and enjoy a beautiful view of the CBD. Mt Eden Road is the shopping street where most of the activity takes place with shops, cafes, bars, restaurants. An ideal area where to stay in Auckland if you are looking for calm but filled with success, rents can be raised.
