Hundreds of umbrellas float over the streets in Portugal

The city of Águeda stands in colour and shade during the month of July

Each month of July, as part of the Festival d’art Ágitagueda hundreds of umbrellas are hung over the streets of Águeda a municipality Portugal . This beautiful tradition began only 3 years ago, but has already made a world reputation for the place. Ephemeral work, in addition to adding one multicolor key in the small town, creates a shaded tunnel very pleasant by strong summer heat.

We understand why this event was an immediate success. This town between Porto and Coimbra is now an indisputable stopover in July, so the attraction is incredible.
