Reviews of Babbel- language courses
Synonym of possible field, the language learning now tends to get out of its comfort zone. Apart from the pedagogical aspect they impose, languages occupy a place of choice among new generations who more than ever perceive them as a way out to a certain future. However, there is still a shadow in the table: the expected results on the school benches are not always there and sometimes leave a bitter memory.
So to overcome the cliché and to break down these invisible borders, many websites and applications specialized in online language courses have arrived on the 2.0 market. Their goal? Giving birth to polyglots in a simple and effective way. Among them, Babbel. As a pioneer of the genre since 2007, the application now plays a leading role in the market, welcoming a certain success across the world. The point on a method that got a name in the education system.
What is Babbel?
An eyeline to the biblical story, Babbel was born of the will to cast down an invisible wall that separates men: the language. In 2007, Berlin’s application settled on the online course market with the aim of giving a new breath to language learning. Surrounded by a team of teachers and linguists, Babbel develops its own method by combining academic research and new technologies. In addition to its aspect 2.0, the application maintains its added value in the basics of learning: with Babbel, the courses offered to users are designed according to the mother tongue.
Today, the application gathers more than 8500 hours of courses in 14 different languages and counts no less than one million active users. A global success that is now a leader in online language learning.

Babbel: the opinion of the editor
Babbel certainly remains the uncontourable language courses online. Very popular with globe-trotters, it remains one of the best applications to open up to the world and thus discover it from another angle. We particularly appreciate the quality of the content offered and the time to be spent for each lesson (10-15 minutes) that allows for flexible and effective learning. Only flats, the price that on its side tends to increase over time, there is no Babbel community itself and the slang (which can be useful according to the destinations) is absent from the lessons. Whether it’s a trip project or a simple personal development goal, we recommend you opt for Babbel if you’re part of those who want to learn quickly and well!
