The subscription is the business model. For learning a language, here are the different packages that are offered to you:

Once you’ve registered on the platform, you’ll receive a wide range of lessons (for example, Italian lists 105 lessons from beginner to intermediate level): reading, writing, listening and pronunciation are exploited around themes (shopping, politics, travel, restaurant...) through various grammar and vocabulary exercises. You learn at first, before practicing in the second and thus advance to speak the chosen language. Babbel: the opinion of the editor
Babbel certainly remains the uncontourable language courses online. Very popular with globe-trotters, it remains one of the best applications to open up to the world and thus discover it from another angle. We particularly appreciate the quality of the content offered and the time to be spent for each lesson (10-15 minutes) that allows for flexible and effective learning. Only flats, the price that on its side tends to increase over time, there is no Babbel community itself and the slang (which can be useful according to the destinations) is absent from the lessons.
